The Town of Vail Housing Team was created in 1996 and is responsible for:
- policy direction
- project definition
- developer and consultant selection
- asset management
- staff liaison to local Housing Authority

Housing Lottery
Since 1996, the town has helped more than 175 local employees purchase homes within Vail’s boundaries. There are currently 727 deed-restricted rental and for-sale employee housing units within the Town of Vail.
