New Year's Eve in Vail will include bus service enhancements and the presence of police and fire personnel to ensure that a safe and fun atmosphere is provided for residents and guests. Additional foot patrols in the pedestrian areas will be used to maintain a family-friendly environment during the holiday.

Non-essential Town of Vail offices will be closing at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 with most offices remaining closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. All offices will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 26.
