The Town of Vail is pleased to announce that Elaine and Art Kelton have been chosen as the 2018 Vail America DaysTM Parade Marshals. Elaine and Art, through their passion for and commitment to their community, have helped shape Vail since the early days, and they continue to make meaningful contributions in Vail and beyond.
The Town of Vail is requesting bids for the replacement of Bridge Road bridge in East Vail. The Bid date it July 11, 2018 at 10am. The construction work includes removal of existing 3-cell culvert structure and install single span prestressed concrete box structure over Gore Creek. This project is partially funded with State of Colorado off bridge replacement funds.

Eagle County residents are invited to trade their keys for a helmet and join their fellow commuters for Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 27.
Vail Transit is providing additional service this summer on the East Vail route to accommodate evening events at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. During the Vail Dance Festival, bus service will be provided on the East Vail route leaving the Vail Transportation Center at 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. with stops at Ford Park. This is in addition to hourly scheduled departures from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Town of Vail is sponsoring the distribution and giveaway of 100 native trees and shrubs as part of the annual Trees for Vail program. Beginning Tuesday, June 19, Vail residents or property owners who show proof of Vail residency will be eligible to pick up a free one-gallon tree or native shrub. The trees will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to one tree per household.
