This project is for the construction of a 700 square foot custom picnic shelter and associated site work, concrete flatwork, landscaping and irrigation at Donovan Park located in West Vail. Bid opening is scheduled for August 24, 2016. Construction is anticipated to begin in September.

Beginning mid-day Monday, July 25, motorists at the Town Center interchange in Vail will be directed into a new lane configuration that will add additional capacity for commuters accessing the Interstate 70 westbound on-ramp. The northbound lane beneath I-70 will be restriped to carry two 11 foot lanes of traffic through the underpass around the north side teardrop roundabout, and then onto the I-70 westbound on-ramp.
An open house is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19 in the Town of Vail Municipal Building to provide an update on proposed water quality projects and potential landscape improvements for the East Vail I-70 interchange.
