Catch the Wildlife Forum on High Five Media

The Community Wildlife Forum, held on March 6 and sponsored by the Town of Vail and Vail Symposium, is available for viewing on demand, courtesy of High Five Access Media at

Panel members presented information on the current status of wildlife populations, the Safe Passage for wildlife study, recreation and development impacts, best practices, lessons learned over the last four decades of wildlife management, and recent trends, programs and issues that may influence wildlife in the future.

Moderated by Rob LeVine, the panel was represented by Devin Duvall, wildlife biologist with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Rick Thompson of Western Ecosystems Inc., Julia Kintsch, principal and conservation ecologist with ECO-resolutions and Bill Andree, retired wildlife biologist.

A similar forum held a year ago was instrumental in raising community awareness about the state of wildlife in the Eagle Valley.
