POSTPONED - Town of Vail Celebrates America Recycles Day on Nov. 13

POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS - The Town of Vail’s celebration of America Recycles Day returns for its fifth year with a collection event for e-waste and paper shredding. America Recycles Day is held annually on Nov. 15. Vail will mark the occasion with a collection event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at the Ford Park parking lot.Public health protocols will apply.

Eagle County Law Enforcement Shop with a Cop Event Set for Dec. 8 with New Format

Over the last 18 years, Eagle County Law Enforcement agencies have hosted the annual Shop with a Cop event. This event allows local elementary school children to be paired with a law enforcement officer to shop for holiday gifts for themselves and family members. Because of COVID-19, the 2020 event has adapted its format to comply with social distancing requirements.
