Prolonged Rescue Effort Necessary to Remove Suicidal Party from Backcountry Cliff
At 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, crews from Vail Fire, Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS), Eagle County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) and Vail Mountain Rescue (VMR) were dispatched to a report of a suicidal party who was trapped on a cliff approximately 1.5 miles up Red Sandstone Road, also known as Piney Road.

Vail Police Seek Information About Arson on Bridge Street
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, the Vail Police Department responded to a report of an American flag being burned on Bridge Street in Vail Village. The flag had been hanging outside a business. A surveillance photo has been released by the department of an individual who may have information related to the vandalism.

Vail Police Seek Information About Recent Motorcycle Theft
The Vail Police Department is releasing surveillance photos from the Solaris parking garage as it seeks assistance from the public in locating a 2005 to 2010 blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. The owner of the vehicle may have information related to the theft of a 2017 KTM 250 XC motorized dirt bike which was stolen from the Solaris garage at approximately 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
