Proposed 2019 Vail Municipal Budget Available for Public Review
Public comment opportunities will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 20 and on Tuesday, Dec. 4 as the Vail Town Council reviews the proposed 2019 municipal budget. The $71.8 million expenditure plan is available on the town’s website. First reading of the budget ordinance is listed as action item 5.1 on the Nov. 20 meeting agenda which begins at 6 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers.

Vail Town Council to Review Status of Colorado Classic Cycling Race at Nov. 20 Meeting
Lessons learned as well as future opportunities for professional cycling in Vail will be discussed by the Town Council during its regular evening meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The discussion will include an overview of feedback received to date following the town’s sponsorship of two stages of the 2018 Colorado Classic held Aug. 16-17. The agenda item is listed as 4.1 on the meeting agenda which includes opportunities for public comment.

Most Town of Vail Offices Closed for Thanksgiving

Town of Vail municipal offices, with the exception of the police front counter, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 in observance of Thanksgiving. This holiday closure includes the parking pass sales office. The police front counter will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Regular hours for all other offices will resume Friday, Nov. 23. The Vail Public Library will be closed beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will remain closed all day Thursday.
