Police Looking for Leads in Assault Investigation

At approximately 12:05 a.m. April 10, an altercation occurred between two groups near the Vail Transportation Center, 241 S. Frontage Road East in Vail Village. The two groups had a verbal argument which escalated into a physical fight. Two individuals were assaulted and injured during the incident.

Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Property Damage Suspect

At approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, April 17, the Vail Police Department responded to a report of damaged property at the Vail Transportation Center, 241 S.Frontage Road East in Vail Village. When officers arrived, they found an exit gate detached from the mount sitting on the ground. Security footage shows a male walking through the parking structure, intentionally lifting the gate and breaking it from the mounting post. The subject then left the area and was not located.

This coveted achievement builds upon the initial certification in 2017 when Vail become the first Certified Sustainable Destination in the U.S.
