Petitions Received from 7 Candidates for Upcoming Vail Town Council Election
The Vail Town Clerk’s Office has received and validated nomination petitions from seven candidates, including one incumbent, who have filed to run for the four open Vail Town Council seats in the Nov. 3 election. The deadline for submitting nomination petitions was 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2.

Vail’s winter parking rates and associated policies will be reviewed by the Town Council at its evening meeting Tuesday, Oct. 6. The item is listed seventh on the meeting agenda which begins at 6 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers with opportunities for public comment. 

Proposed 2016 Vail Municipal Budget Available for Public Review

Public hearings will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 20 as the Vail Town Council reviews the proposed 2016 municipal budget. The $72.7 million expenditure plan is available on the town’s website at vailgov.com. First reading of the budget ordinance is listed tenth on the Oct. 6 meeting agenda which begins at 6 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers with opportunities for public comment.
