Ford Park Improvements

The next phase of improvements to Ford Park begins this week. This includes work on the park’s lower bench area with the construction of a new restroom near the playground, improvements to the playground, an extension of the water main and installation of concrete pavers on Betty Ford Way to the Manor Vail covered bridge. The cost of the project is approximately $1.3 million and is funded from the Real Estate Transfer Tax fund. The contractor is RA Nelson of Avon.

Gore Valley Trail Improvements - Vail Library

The Town of Vail is seeking a qualified contractor to construct improvements to the Gore Valley Trail recreation path between Lionshead Village and West Meadow Drive, near the Vail Library.  The work generally includes the installation of two pedestrian bridges, stream bank stabilization work, site grading, paving, electrical and landscaping.

Statewide Assistance for Championships

Noise Wall Preference Results

The results of a preference survey to determine if a noise wall will be built as part of the I-70 Vail Underpass project have been certified by Vail Town Clerk Patty McKenny. There were 203 Benefiting Receptor Units surveyed, with each unit survey counted twice, once for the owner and once for the occupant, for a total of 406 survey preference counts.
