Vail Clarifies Regulations Related to Consumption of Alcohol in Public Places
The target date to begin allowing consumption of alcohol in public places in Vail has been set for May 29 following Town Council approval of an emergency ordinance that authorizes the Town Manager to establish such locations. Until then, the Vail Police Department is reminding guests and residents that public consumption of alcohol in Vail remains prohibited. Stephens Park Playground to Close in June and July for Renovation while Access to other Park Areas to Remain Open

The children’s play area at Stephens Park in West Vail will be closed beginning the week of May 25 while the playground undergoes a renovation over the next several months. Stephen’s Park is located in the Intermountain Neighborhood at 2470 S. Frontage Road. Access to other facilities within the park, including the off-leash dog area, parking and public restrooms, will remain accessible throughout the renovation.
