Early Absentee Voting for Vail’s November Election is Underway
The Vail Town Clerk’s Office is reminding Vail voters that beginning Thursday, Oct. 22, through Friday, Oct. 30, early absentee voting for the Regular Municipal Election will be offered at the Vail Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Road between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Voters may also drop their absentee ballots to the town offices until 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3.

Vail Police Department to Distribute East Vail Vehicle Access Placards on Monday, Oct. 26
In preparation for the possibility of winter road closures on Interstate 70, officers from the Vail Police Department will be greeting motorists in the East Vail neighborhood on Monday, Oct. 26 to help distribute vehicle access placards issued by the department. The free placards help improve access to East Vail neighborhoods during I-70 closures and are available to all requesting households.

Vail Transportation Permits Required for New Season Beginning Nov. 1

Transportation providers doing business in Vail are reminded that a permit is required to provide passenger service within the town. The permit system was established in 2012 to help regulate the town’s management of shuttles, limousines, taxis, buses and other transportation services, including Uber and Lyft.
