A mandatory mask zone has been implemented in designated areas of Vail Village, Lionshead, Golden Peak and Cascade Village ahead of the start of the 2020-2021 ski season. Seasonal Closure of Gore Valley Recreation Trail at Dowd Junction Scheduled for Nov. 9

The seasonal closure of the Gore Valley Recreation Trail through Dowd Junction is scheduled for early in the day on Monday, Nov. 9. The trail is closed during the first snowstorms of the season, which typically triggers deer and elk migration through the Mud Springs wildlife underpass which crosses under the trail.
