Vail Police Department to Distribute East Vail Vehicle Access Placards on Nov. 14
In preparation for the likelihood of winter road closures on Interstate 70, the code enforcement team from the Vail Police Department will be greeting motorists in the East Vail neighborhood on Tuesday, Nov. 14, to help distribute vehicle access placards issued by the department. The free placards help improve access to East Vail neighborhoods during I-70 closures and are available for free to all requesting households.

Vail Voters to Cast Ballots Tuesday
Vail’s Regular Municipal Election takes place Tuesday, Nov. 7 in which voters will seat four Town Council members. All voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Town of Vail Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Road. Absentee ballots must be received by the Town Clerk by 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Vail Sponsors Lunch with the Locals Nov. 8
The Town of Vail will sponsor another installment in its Lunch with the Locals series at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Lionshead Welcome Center. Attendees will enjoy a presentation from aquatic entomologist Dave Rees of Timberline Aquatics. He will provide an in-depth analysis of the status of Gore Creek based on aquatic macroinvertebrate populations. 

Vail Parks Transition to Winter Season

Public restrooms in most of Vail's town parks will be shutting down on Thursday, Nov. 9 in preparation for the winter season. The closures will impact facilities at Ford Park, Bighorn Park, Red Sandstone Park, Stephens Park, Ellefson Park and Buffehr Creek Park. Please plan accordingly. These restrooms will be reopened in the spring.
