Schedule for Ski, Ride Dates with Elected Officials on Vail Mountain Announced
Members of the Vail Town Council and Eagle County Commissioners are inviting skiers and riders to join them for some runs on Vail Mountain on selected Fridays this season following a series of successful ski outings initiated previously. The gatherings are intended to find out what’s on people’s minds beyond the confines of a traditional public meeting.

Vail Bus Service Transitions to Winter Schedule

Town of Vail buses have transitioned to the full winter schedule as of Monday, Dec. 12. The new schedule runs through April 23 and will provide 30-minute service on most outlying routes during peak times and 30-minute to one-hour service on most outlying routes during non-peak times.

Colorado Court of Appeals Rules on Vail Stream Tract Case

The Colorado Court of Appeals has reversed a decision of the Eagle County District Court and has ruled in favor of the Town of Vail in a Gore Creek public stream tract case that is likely to assist the town in other enforcement actions involving private landscaping on public property aimed at improving the creek’s water quality and riparian habitat.

Day-two of Pile Burning in Vail Scheduled for Today
Crews from Vail Fire and Emergency Services have scheduled another day of pile burns for Tuesday, Dec. 6 as conditions permit. The operations will again take place off of Buffehr Creek Road in West Vail where the Vail wildland fire mitigation crew completed fuels reduction work.
