Request For Proposal – I-70 Exit 173 Water Quality Improvements

The Town of Vail’s Gore Creek Water Quality Improvement Plan identified the I-70 West Vail interchange (Exit 173) as a high priority area for water quality improvements. Currently the interchange stormwater is treated by sumps (sand traps) at most inlets and a 1,000 gallon sand/oil interceptor (installed in 1997) located in the middle of the south roundabout prior to discharging into Gore Creek. Next Community Ski and Ride Day is Jan. 10
The second in the series of community ski and ride days is set for 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 on Vail Mountain. Community members are invited to join local leaders, including the Eagle County Commissioners and officials from the Town of Vail, at the base of Gondola One in Vail Village for some runs, casual conversations and idea sharing.
