The Community Development Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Christopher "CJ" Jarecki as chief building official for the Town of Vail. His first day on the job is Monday, Oct. 9. The Vail Town Clerk’s Office is reminding Vail voters that absentee voting has begun. As of Sept. 26, the Town Clerk’s Office has mailed 412 absentee ballots to voters, including overseas and active military voters. Absentee voting can be done by submitting the appropriate request form to the Clerk’s Office.
