The Town of Vail has reopened its citizen application process for appointment to the Design Review Board after an earlier process resulted in no applicants.There are two vacancies on the DRB. Applicants must be residents and registered voters of the Town of Vail. Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 30.
Applicants will be interviewed by the Town Council at the afternoon work session on April 7 with a final selection at the regular evening meeting. Duties of the five-member DRB include reviewing the design of new structures, remodels, sign requests, landscaping plans and other architectural and aesthetic matters. The term of each new appointment begins immediately with the first meeting on April 7, 2015. The terms run to March 31, 2017.
