Bus service to Ford Park will be increased for the summer season beginning Sunday, June 14 with daily operation of an extension to the in-town Village to Village route via Vail Valley Drive. The extended loop will run as a trial this summer from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day through Sept. 30 and will provide convenient pedestrian access to the Ford Amphitheater, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vail Nature Center and the park’s other amenities.
In addition to the in-town extension route, an express bus will be providing service to Ford Park via South Frontage Road from the Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures to coincide with special events occurring at the park.
Close-in paid parking at Ford Park will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $10 on peak event days such as Hot Summer Nights, Bravo! Vail and the Lacrosse Shootout. Parking will remain free at Ford Park during non-peak days. Parking is free in the two structures all summer long.
