With strong buyer interest and approvals from the town review boards, the Chamonix Vail development team is announcing an expedited scheduled to lock-in lower construction costs for the new homes. The lottery submission deadline has been adjusted to Friday, March 17 for qualified buyers wishing to take part in the May 3 drawing. The previous deadline was March 31. Lottery applicants will select from among 32 deed restricted townhomes to be built on a town-owned parcel in West Vail, located at 2310 Chamonix Road.
Interested applicants are invited to attend a Chamonix Vail Buyer Information Session from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 at the Grandview on the third floor of the Lionshead Welcome Center to learn more about the new neighborhood. Prospective buyers are encouraged to drop in anytime during the session to review floor plans, speak to lenders and ask questions of the development team. Parking is free upon entry after 3 p.m.
Chamonix Vail includes five distinctive floor plans with a combination of two and three-bedrooms and numerous amenities, including energy efficiencies, enclosed garages, ample storage space, outdoor patios and a neighborhood gathering space and community garden. Estimated sales pricing is from $390,000 to $739,000. To date, 80 applications have been submitted for the lottery drawing. A spring construction start is anticipated with the first families moving into the new homes in the fourth quarter of 2017.
