The upcoming Nov. 8 election will be conducted by the Eagle County Clerk & Recorder’s Office as a mail ballot election. Ballots were mailed to all active registered voters on Oct. 17. Requests for mail-in ballots to alternate addresses or replacement ballots must be made in writing to the Clerk’s Office no later than Oct. 31 to have a ballot mailed to you. After that date, you must register in person. Other election announcements:
- Register to vote or make changes to your voter information online at govotecolorado.com.
- Deadline to return a voted ballot is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. Postmarks will not count. Return ballot postage $.68.
- Vail voters will have access to a Voter Service and Polling Center location at the Grand View, third floor of Lionshead Welcome Center, 395 E. Lionshead Circle as follows:
--Friday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
--Saturday, Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
--Monday, Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
--Tuesday, Nov. 8 (Election Day), 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Other polling center locations include Eagle County Building, Avon Center Building and Eagle County Community Center.
