The Town of Vail will sponsor the first in a series of lunch and learn symposiums at noon Wednesday, May 25 on the ground level of the Lionshead Welcome Center. Attendees will enjoy a free lunch while listening to a presentation on Gore Creek stream ecology and aquatic health. Experts from the Town of Vail, Eagle River Water & Sanitation District, Eagle River Watershed Council and Walking Mountains Science Center will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the threats facing Gore Creek. Free native seed mixes and reusable grocery bags will be available to participants, as well.
