The Town of Vail has taken immediate measures to implement the Standing Public Health Order Related to Events, Bars and Restaurants issued by Eagle County Department of Health & Environment and recommendations from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our community. - Parking - Daily and overnight parking will remain free in the Vail Village and Lionshead structures until Sunday, June 28. Beginning Monday, June 29, there will be a $25 charge for overnight parking. www.vailgov.com/parking
- Public Meetings - Vail Town Council, Board & Commissions will be held according to the Town of Vail Remote Meeting Policy until further notice. These meetings will be a Zoom webinar feed and most will be recorded by High Five Media. Quasi-judicial proceedings before the Vail Town Council have been suspended until in-person public hearings of more than 10 people are allowed under future public health orders.

- Police Counter is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday for individuals with an urgent need such as to report a missing person, to report a crime or to retrieve found and recovered property. While we value face-to-face contact, please call us at 970-479-2210 during those hours, prior to coming in to see us. If we can help you remotely, we will do that first. The following services have been suspended until further notice: non-criminal fingerprinting, vehicle identification (VIN) checks and processing of passenger transportation permit applications. Parking ticket disputes are being accepted by email only. Your email will be forwarded to the officer who issued the ticket, or your contest of the ticket will be handled by municipal court staff. - Parking tickets - pay by phone only by calling 970-479-2100. Visa or Mastercard.
- Municipal Court – The court will be closed until further notice. Call the court at 970-479-2129 or 970-479-2132 with questions. Please mail penalty assessment violation payments to the court at 75 S. Frontage Road, Vail, CO 81657 or call to pay over the phone with a credit card.
- Use of conference rooms - Conference meeting rooms and Council Chambers that are typically available for nonprofit, HOA and other public agency group use are closed to the public until further notice
- Community Development Building (west side) is closed to the public. This includes access to Planning, Permitting and Building divisions, plus Environmental, Economic Development and Housing Department functions. The department is actively processing applications, performing plan reviews and issuing approved permits, as well as performing inspections Monday-Friday. Staff members are working remotely to ensure that projects are not negatively impacted. Questions regarding the status of your applications and permits can be addressed by emailing cdev_submittal@vailgov.com. Our administrative team will be responding to emails regularly and will provide the most up-to-date information.
