Vail Parking Pass Sales Underway for Season

Season parking passes are available for purchase on the lower level of the Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Rd. There are five discount pass types available, plus an incremental rate structure for value cards. Rates are unchanged from the previous season. The town’s parking pass sales office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the winter.

Paid parking in the Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures will coincide with the start of Vail Mountain’s 2015-16 ski and snowboard season which is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 20. Once the new season is underway, satellite lots at Ford Park and the soccer field east of Golden Peak will become permit parking for employees. There will be additional adjustments mid-season when the soccer field parking lot will be closed from Feb. 18 through March 11 to accommodate staging needs for the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships.

To coincide with the start of paid parking, Vail Transit will be increasing bus service across all routes beginning Nov. 20 prior to implementation of the full winter schedule on Dec. 14. Descriptions of the available parking passes and qualifications are as follows:
