Town of Vail Offices Closed Sept. 3

Most Town of Vail Municipal offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day. The Vail Public Library also will be closed. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Transit services will operate uninterrupted during the holiday. Also, the police front counter in the Municipal Building will remain open on Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Call 911 for police, fire or medical emergencies.

Town of Vail Hosts Informational Meetings to Help Answer Questions on Short-Term Rental Requirements, Feb. 13 &14
Informational meetings to help guide property owners and property managers through the steps needed to comply with new requirements for short-term rentals in Vail are being hosted by the town on Tuesday, Feb. 13 and Wednesday, Feb. 14. The sessions are being held to coincide with enactment of the new short-term rental regulations effective March 1.

Town of Vail Marks 50 Years with Community Birthday Party, Tributes on Aug. 23
The Town of Vail is throwing a community birthday party on Tuesday, Aug. 23 - 50 years to the day it became a new town. The celebration will include a variety of tributes, highlighted by a community gathering from 4 to 6 p.m. at Donovan Park and Pavilion with activities for the entire family.

Town of Vail to Sponsor 17th Annual Neighborhood Picnics July 12 and Aug. 9
Mark your calendars for the Town of Vail’s 17th annual "Celebrating Community" neighborhood picnic series Tuesday, July 12 at Bighorn Park in East Vail and Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Donovan Pavilion in West Vail. Each picnic will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with free food and drink provided by the town on a first-come, first-served basis. The picnics provide community members with an opportunity to offer comments and suggestions about various topics and to meet members of the Vail Town Council and town staff.
