Vail’s Planning and Environmental Commission will review a draft update of the 1994 Town of Vail Comprehensive Open Lands Plan at its regular meeting on Monday, April 23. The meeting begins at 1 p.m. in the Vail Municipal Building with opportunities for public comment. This will be the PEC’s fourth review of the draft. A modified draft of the Town of Vail Open Lands Plan Update is now available for public review and comment. The document has been revised and expanded based on input from citizens and technical experts to include considerations that were identified during a community wildlife forum hosted by the town in January, among other topics.

Planning and Environmental Commission to Receive Progress Report on Open Lands Plan Update, Feb. 26

On Monday, Feb. 26, staff will provide the Planning and Environmental Commission an update on the Open Lands Plan planning process at its regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 1 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers. Since the draft plan was last presented, the town has hosted a community wildlife forum, revised and expanded the plan based on public input, and has continued to meet with technical expert groups.
