Individual Scoring:

The individual scoring system will be as follows:

  • Medals will be awarded to the top three racers in the Men’s and Women’s Ski and Snowboard Divisions as well as Masters divisions for racers 50+ in each discipline.
  • There will be a masters category, consisting of male and female racers over 50. If a masters participant places in top 3 in the advanced category they will be scored there.
  • The scoring system will apply equally to men and women's divisions. The best time of two runs will be used for individual and team placing.
  • Each racer must compete one run on each of the two courses.
  • Skier/rider ability is based on basic ski/ ride ability not race ability or experience. If you can ski black diamond runs comfortably you are an expert, if you can ski blue runs comfortably you are intermediate, if green runs are your bread and butter you are a beginner.

Team Scoring:

The team scoring system will be as follows:

  • The best times of the team members will be added together for a team score. If a team member Does Not Finish (DNF) on both runs, the team is disqualified.
  • There are three team categories, Advanced, Intermediate and beginner/ multi discipline (beginners of same discipline or a mix of skiers and boarders).
  • Mixed Discipline teams can be a mix of skiers and boarders.
  • On the entry form please rate yourself as to your honest racing ability.
  • Race officials reserve the right to address skier/rider class and ability issues if they arise.
